Explorers through time worshop
Year 2 took part in a virtual workshop called Explorers Through Time delivered by the Royal Maritime Museum in London. The children learnt all about what it means to be an explorer and compared two famous explorers in history: Sir Francis Drake and the first British woman in Space, Helen Sharman. The children loved asking and answering questions throughout the afternoon, and I'm sure some of them will be Explorers one day!
