Apple Crumble recipe
As part of our Summer Vehicle, Euro Feasting!, Year 3 created their own apple crumbles during our DT lessons. Below is the ingredients list and cooking instructions for you to enjoy it at home!
Ingredients
Cooking apples
Cinnamon
Caster sugar
Plain flour (or gluten free alternative)
Butter (or vegan alternative)
Rolled oats
Cooking Instructions
Carefully place the crumble into the oven using oven gloves. Bake for 35-45 minutes until the crumble is golden. Leave the crumble to cool on a heatproof mat or surface for 10 minutes before serving it into bowls. Be careful, as the crumble will still be very hot!
Crumble is also delicious with ice cream, cream or custard.
