Reconciliation

Reconciliation

Reconciliation is a Sacrament of forgiveness and a celebration of God's love and mercy. Children learn to reflect on their choices, recognise when they have done something wrong, say sorry and understand that God is always ready to forgive them.

As part of their preparation, children learn the Act of Contrition:

O my God, because you are so good,
I am very sorry that I have sinned against you,
and with the help of your grace,
I will not sin again.
Amen.
